API to inform module if subscription payment has been made for a product/service?

Hi,

 

I want to use WHMCS product/service order feature for software license subscription. I will need to allow my user to generate a key with an expiry date - this date is stored in a table separate from WHMCS.

 

Whenever the user makes a subscription payment, I will need WHMCS to inform my "custom php script" to extend the "expiry date" by 1 year into the future so that keys generated for that installation will expire also 1 year into the future.

 

Can this be done? I took a look at Registrar API, there does not seem to be a "on payment function".

 

I also checked the Add invoice payment API, but it doesn't seem to provide a param that I can use to link back to a product.
