New order flow

Hello, I'm the new guy that you'll probably hear a lot more from. Hope everyone is well.

I have been trying to figure this out but simply can not find any docs on it. I would like to set-up the flow of ordering so that a potential customer

1.) chooses a hosting plan from a list on the home page

2.) is immediately taken to the domainchecker page

3.) either searches for and selects a domain or opts to use an existing one they own

4.) proceed to cart with domain name (if chosen) and selected hosting option (from home page)

What I currently have is I either direct them to domainchecker they add the domain and then on the following page (where name servers are set) this is an option "[No Hosting! Click to Add]" or...I direct them to cart.php?a=add&pid=3 and after selecting the billing option (from configurable options) it takes them to the cart and there was never an option to add a domain

This has to be possible and I'm simply missing the boat here but it seems like all the documentation I can find addresses how to manage clients from the admin area, not necessarily setting up the flow of the order process.

If I am missing it in the wiki, please point me to where it is. If there is documentation elsewhere on this I would appreciate being pointed to that as well.

Thanks much for your time!

Chris
