issue with sub accounts

As expected many of our clients are developers. They also recommend their clients to sign up for us. Once the client signs up they ask us to setup a sub account in their name so they can open support tickets. If the client already exists in the system the system does not accept the subaccount.

 

I would imagine this is a common problem as many developers like to use the same hosting company and recommend their clients sign up with them. Could sub accounts be linked with multiple accounts? Perhaps there is a more elegant way of doing this.

 

Should this be a feature request?
