slinky
I'm having many problems with the LiveHelp chat and I'm wondering whether people are using it well: (1) Installation went fine and I pasted in the javascript code into the head. Unfortunately no image appears there as the path is missing the "whmcsdir/modules/" portion of the path. That path is correct in the admin of the livehelp module. Cannot explain the problem and a broken image appears in IE and alt text in Mozilla. (2) I cannot seem to turn off the livehelp email to shut off email being sent instead of taking out a support ticket. What's the point in having the live help if this bypasses the ticket system? I'm assuming it can be piped but, again, I don't want that and a ticket is the way to set priority, department, etc. instead of having the software require sending email. (3) I can't get it to work in a browser. I get "cookies must be enabled" in all my browsers. If I didn't have cookies enabled, nothing would work and I know they are enabled. Not sure what to do here...
slinky
OK - answers to questions 1 and 2 are in the "links" part of the control panel but that doesn't work. You have to manually add those in because the standard install doesn't do it properly - and then when you do, for some reason the software throws in an extra "include" in the path that comes out of nowhere. What the...? IE 8 also gives the following errors: Webpage error details User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/4.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; InfoPath.2; .NET4.0C) Timestamp: Wed, 20 Oct 2010 22:27:33 UTC Message: Object doesn't support this property or method Line: 47 Char: 1 Code: 0 URI: http://www.mysite.com/support/modules/livehelp/plugins/whmcs/jquery.livehelp.js Message: Object doesn't support this property or method Line: 177 Char: 2 Code: 0 URI: http://www.mysite.com/support/modules/livehelp/plugins/whmcs/jquery.livehelp.js Message: Object doesn't support this property or method Line: 294 Char: 2 Code: 0 URI: http://www.mysite.com/support/modules/livehelp/plugins/whmcs/jquery.livehelp.js
slinky
Anyone? I can't get the live messenger to work properly and the help desk at Stardevelop doesn't work. I get a blank page after submission and I'm assuming none of my messages are received by them. Joy.
