rkatz0
Hi, We have been using a Windows VPS running Plesk not connected to WHMCS to host a few client's Windows sites until now. Due to the performance on the VPS and expansion we need to migrate it to a dedicated Windows server with some control panel (hopefully other then Plesk). Of the available can you give an idea which are functionally feasible to use other then Plesk? I read a few posts that the DotNet panel which is now another name actually works well but I would like as much inside knowledge before I spend hours configuring and testing. Thank you in advance.
Nisd
I like websitepanel very much, only issue is that you have to "hack" it a bit if you want it to force clients into separated application pools.
rkatz0
@Nisd - Thank you for your comment, can you please elucidate on the "hack", that would be very helpful if not for me but for someone. If it is an easy search please provide the link if you have it. Regards,
mylove4life
I used Helm 3 and loved that, helm 4 had/has problems and now that Plesk bought them I would never use I Plesk owned item. I when went to websitepanel as well. I have around 2000 websites and 10 servers and it works fine.
Nisd
Here is a patch file with the changes and the dll if you just wanna go for it right away. Just make sure that each packet is allowed to use Dedicated App pools, and it is set as default in your web policy. http://anyhub.net/file/websitepanel.portal.modules.zip
