rootweb@sitneva.com
Hello, I have WHMCS v4.2.1 installed and want to upgrade to v4.3.1. I have just recently installed WHMCS and never have upgraded. I made it all the way to step 4 before needing help. Upgrade Steps (from http://wiki.whmcs.com/Version_4.3_Release_Notes#Upgrade_Steps) To upgrade your WHMCS System, simply follow the instructions below. 1. … 2. Next, unzip the contents of the WHMCS V4.3 zip file download to a folder on your computer 3. …. 4. Upload the files to your existing installation folder overwriting any existing files The unzipped directory hierarchy of whmcs_v431.zip is as follows: whmcs_v431 status whmcs admin attachments . . other folders . templates_c (lots of files) Step 4 states “Upload the files …”, do I upload the folder whmcs_v431 and below to the install directory or do I upload the folder whmcs and below to the install directory or something else? Thanks, Don Flickner

thehost5968
1) Every think within but not inc whmcs_v431 2) Now if you have installed whmcs within the root (e.g. your url is like http://www.domain.name/cart.php) then upload only files within whmcs (before make shore you have matching names on both admin folder and your template folder's names). 3) Now if you have installed whmcs within the a folder (e.g. your url is like http://www.domain.name/client/cart.php) then upload whmcs folder but change the whmcs to match the name "client" (before make shore you have matching names on both admin folder and your template folder's names).
