Attachments in tickets not accessible

Hi, when I attach a file to a support ticket, it shows up in the ticket as an attachment but when a customer (or me) clicks on it, you get the browser error "File not found. Please contact support."

The attachment doesn't show up in the whmcs/downloads directory, but even if I manually upload it, I still get the error.

My php.ini has "file_uploads" enabled. Any ideas? Thank you.

The three folders "attachments", "downloads" and "templates_c" need to be writeable by WHMCS and therefore require the permissions 777 (writeable by all).

So, Check this first...........

Why? Why do they need to be writable when im running fastcgi with a perm of user:user?

Then, there is absolutely no reason to have 777 on your directories. Same with phpsuexec. With that the max permission is a 755.

Why is Whmcs not looking at this?

Maybe you should look into this bug.
