Server Module, clientarea funcs - no result info?

Writing a Server Module and just got to adding some clientarea buttons/functions eg stop/start etc (VPS module) but can't see anyway to return a response to the client area?

 

So they click stop and... er nothing. How can I show a response message from the function?

 

Note: using same functions as the adminside funcs, so they return "success" or error message, so how can I use that.
