Pre-Sales Contact Us link is redirecting to support

Hi,

 

My Pre-Sales Contact Us link is redirecting to the support ticket page and I have no idea why. I expected to see a contact form.

 

I have a feeling that I may have configured this to happen but I cant remember where in admin I would have changed this.

 

Any Ideas?

Its ok, I found it.

 

Just in case anyone else has this problem, this is what I did

 

 

In Admin, select: General Settings then click on the "Mail" tab

 

Bottom of the page:

Presales Form Destination: Select (Choose a department - Or send an Email)

 

 

Type in the email address where you want to receive the Pre-Sales Contact mail.

 

Click on "save changes.

 

Done.

Resellers will be good using this solution saves logging in all the time..

 

However if you have sales staff you would just stick to the support ticket option and set up teh sales support department.

(you can choose and email address to send the support emails too anyway)

 

If you want to be a little bit cheeky you could i suppose set up the support departments on a reseller solution, this would maybe give your business a larger appearance.. now if you wanted to "deceive" your clients i suppose you could also create different admin accounts to further impact on the larger company perception.

 

Personally i like to appear as i am, a small personal service business (until i need to be a large business that is), but whatever method is your choice.
