dotcom
I am trying to get the cpanel login button to show in the client area so that clients can login directly. We have this working for a separate installation of WHMCS (Version: 4.1.2), but I can not figure out how to get it working with a different installation (Version: 4.2.1). How do I add the cpanel login button? Is it a discontinued feature? I have also noticed the "get EPP code" button is not showing on the domains page in the client area. We would also like to get this feature working... any ideas?
laszlof
The cPanel buttons will only show if the account is linked to a cPanel server. And the "Get EPP" button is only available when the "EPP Code" is selected for the TLD in the TLD pricing section.
dotcom
Code Ninja, I was able to get the "Get EPP" button back thanks to your tip! However I am still lost on the cpanel login button... "The cPanel buttons will only show if the account is linked to a cPanel server." Can you elaborate on how this is done? Our cPanel server is setup and there are a few existing test accounts on it. Do you need any additional information?
laszlof
On your server list in WHMCS (Setup -> Servers). The server the account is linked to needs to be set to use the cPanel module. Also, the specific package the account has (Setup -> Products & Services) needs to be set as "Product Type" -> "Shared Hosting Account" and under Module Settings, it should be linked to the "Cpanel" module. If all these are set, it should show the cPanel/WHM login links within the client area.
dotcom
It worked!!!!! Thank you! I had the product type set to "Other" because of our custom package offering. Setting the product type to "Shared Hosting Account" did it. Thanks again for all your help!
