Mass email - 1 per client or for every product?

Hi all,

I want to use the WHMCS mass email feature, but a bit nervous as not sure what it will do.

Will it send one email per customer account, or will it send one email for every active hosting or domain name they have?

Thank you,

- Vincent

To answer your specific question, there is a checkbox when sending out a mass email to remove duplicates for customers. If they have 3 hosting accounts with you (that match your criteria for the mass email) it will only send them one. However, if you uncheck the box, it will send 3 emails to the client, one for each hosting account.

Also, please be aware that if WHMCS is hosted on a cPanel server, be sure that the email limit isn't set to low. I attempted to send out a mass email using our system and forgot the default email limit was set to 1000/hour, and it failed to send not too long into the process :)

The note on that page within WHMCS says:

ticking this box will mean an email is sent for each item that matches the given criteria and therefore a single client may receive the email multiple times

Which is the opposite of what you say, but thanks for pointing me in the right direction :-)

By the way, I love your brand.

Whoops! Ya, I just recalled it from memory and didn't actually look at this. :)
