DirectI Registrar Module - a couple of questions ...

methos

Question

I'm just testing the DirectI module and I have a couple of questions.

Firstly, I noticed that the domain was not automatically sent for processing to DirectI, and I had to manually step in to kick it off - was this just because the test order I was placing was not paid? ie if a customer registered the domain and paid immediately through, for instance, paypal, would the registration automatically be submitted?

Second question - the admin, technical and billing contacts sent through to directI are all the client details, I would require the billing contact to be set to my own contact details - is this limitation of DirectI, or do I need to configure something differently?

Thanks.

Yes, when domains are paid for, if you have the automatic registration enabled in Configuration > Domain Pricing then WHMCS will attempt to register the domain for you.

And with DirectI, I believe all the contacts for the domain are set to the clients details.

Sorry to kick an old post, but I have this problem too. How are the administrive and technical contact details changed in Directi?

Once you have focused on the actual domain in your customer's account, then click the Modify Contact Details button. Look for the string of text that says "Note: We will use your Owner (Registrant) information as your Technical, Billing and Admin contacts. Alternately click here to edit these now" and click the link to edit the individual contacts.
