Support and Updates

I have searched through the forums, and don't think I have come across the answer to my question. If it has been, my apologies.

 

Say I have an owned license, and my Support and Updates expires and I do not renew. If a newer version comes out after that, say even v5, would I just have to renew the Support and Updates addon for the currently yearly price to get the update?

Yes you don't have to always keep your support & updates current. They can lapse as long as you don't need support and then just renew when you want to upgrade.
