MediaPlayStudios
Hi, How many WHMCS users add late fees to invoices? How much late fees do you charge? Do you customers complain? I think mostly all of them...... I know we do because in this industry it's necessary need to have. We charge late fees based on the type of service you have with us. Shared & Reseller customers pay one fee and VPS & Dedicated customers pay another fee. We have created a hook that allows our WHMCS to determine how much late fee to add to a customers invoice. We also have it setup with Dedicated customers that if say in a 6 month period of time you are late more than 3 times your late fee will increase. But to be honest I don't have many customers that are late ....And if my mind serves me correctly I have not had a customer that's been late in about 2 years.
brianr
I'm one that doesn't.... You'd be surprised how quickly payments get made when everything stops working... I do have a few customers exempted from automatic suspension, but they are ones I've had for a long time and pay by check. (Saves me a few % in CC fees, and as long as the checks aren't real late, fine with me.)
