Free Live Chat Addon

Recommended Posts

Trying it at http://www.hostxnow.com/support//

In WHMCS Admin Pane at the bottom of the page it has 'No support requests are available at the moment.', even though the Live Chat icon is showing as Online. I click on image to load chat window up but still get the "No support requests are available at the moment. " message show up. I tried typed some text in the chat window and press Send button but still the same thing.

Hello HostXNow;

I have looked at the URL you are using. Currently the script is not installed properly on your server and you appear to be using livezilla. Livezilla and this addon are two separate entities and will not work in collaboration with each other.

If you start a chat request using livezilla only the livezilla client can respond to it.

If you require any assistance setting up the live chat addon I will be glad to help! Please contact me through WHMCS Addon in order to arrange setup.

Regards,

Jeremy Haber

Custom Online/Offline Code Change what is displayed on the page when operators are online or offline.

Does this support only 1 set of images, because I have sub entities (companies) that have different layouts/different online/offline images to match each website and I can separate the two, currently using Kayako and has the ability to support 'Company Groups'?

This addon has the ability to customize the offline and online images for each installation of the addon.

If each sub-company you have has its own individual copy of WHMCS running then you can absolutely customize it :D

Why don't you try the free livezilla live chat, every few months they upgrade it, and it's 100% free! it also allows you to download the icon on your computer and it installs on your server.

Check it out:

I have integrated livezilla into my new website

The addon in this thread looks pretty awesome as well - good work :)

Did you restart Apache afterwards?

register_globals has always been set to "off". So a restart wasn't even needed.

I did have your addon setup correctly. Just replaced it with LiveZilla because I couldn't get your addon to work.

HostXnow my main problem was trying to run a admin answer on the same computer u cant be on both user and admin on the same computer because of the session keys it uses try using 2 computers and it works great.

Aah, that must be the reason it wasn't working for me then.

Thanks for the answer.

Hi all,

1. I installed the script correctly, but I get an error, I thought it was because he had other javascript on the page, but place it in a new page and the error persists.

see running script

2. Is normal to see domain.ext//start_session.php ( two // )

Best regards,

Joel

Hello Joe;

The test page you sent over seems to be working correctly. Can you please specify what browser you are using that is receiving this error?

The double slashes "//" is perfectly normal and will not effect the script.

Let me know if I can further assist you.

Regards,

Jeremy Haber
