Does the amount I entered in my reseller account have anything to do with the limit of domains my clients can register? Let say I add $16 does it mean that only 2 domains can be registered with me ? how much is enough?

Explain please.

Thank you.

Hi!

I'm assuming you are talking about a domain reseller account. In that case, yes the amount you deposit will be the amount you are able to use for purchasing domains. Depending on how much traffic and sales you get should determine how much you need to deposit. Getting a lot of people registering for a domain, then you should increase your deposit amount, if not then go for a more smaller deposit amount. Make sure you have enough money in there so you can cover domains being purchased. Hope that answers your question.

Kind Regards,

Derrick

And how do I make money off the reseller program ? How is the money shared between me and the DirectI ?

Thank you for the answer.

Well that all depends on what price point your reseller account is at. For instance if you have a $8.95 domain reseller account, being $8.95 is YOUR COST for the domain to be purchased for your customers, then you need to mark up the cost you sell the domains to your customers. So for instance in WHMCS, you would charge anything above $8.95, that is your profit margin.

So say, you charge your clients $14.95 for a domain, your cost being $8.95...you made $6. Thats your money, and not DirectI money. The only thing you are giving them (DirectI) is your fixed cost of $8.95.

Hope I explained it ok...

Kind Regards,

Derrick
