Only when you filter the mailing list to send it to people based on hosting accounts. If you do this then of course this will be the expected result as you may be including info about each domain a client has. If you only want to email each client once then you will either need to use the email all clients option in the mass mail section or select individual clients to email from the clients list.

Hi Matt,

I just ran into the same problem. We're doing a server upgrade, and I wanted to notify all the shared hosting clients on that specific server about the upgrade.

So, using V3.7.1, I went into Mass Mail, and set the following options under "Product/Service Related Email":

Product/Service Type -> Shared Hosting Account

Product/Service -> Any

Product/Service Status -> Active

Server -> ServerA

Some clients had like 8 or 11 or even 18 hosting accounts, and got 8, 11 & 18 emails! Client with only 3 or so accounts would still forgive this error, but to these 3 clients it's going to be a problem. And I need to notify them all about the upgrade status in a few days time again. This is a problem and need to be looked into.

And choosing a Product/Service won't help either, cause then I would need to go through all the Products/Services related to that server, and those clients would still get more than one email, since most clients have different products.

I just ran into this also. It would be a nice feature to be able to only send 1 copy per client contact. I also don't see any secondary contacts included in the 'mass mail' feature even though they receive General and all other mail.
