frisco
In my previous manual system, I attempted to invoice clients for domain name renewals 30 days before they expired, so that there was time to deal with changed credit card info or whatever before the actual expiration. I see the per-domain setting for due date -- How do I set a "days before" setting to set that due date automatically to nn days before the expiration date?

frisco
Ok -- for free domains, or domains where the client has already paid, are the renewals automatic, or do we need to initiate them? If automatic, when do they renew?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted March 24, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted March 24, 2007 As of V3.1, they will be automated. Providing the hosting account and domain are invoiced together - so it shows the hosting account + free domain on the one invoice, then the domain is automatically renewed when the hosting account is paid for. If for some reason the next due dates don't match and the free domain is invoiced seperately then the domain is renewed immediately as the invoice will be created and marked paid automatically as a free invoice.
