Reporting discrepancies

I'm having some discrepancies in the output of default reports. For example, if I view the income by month and note the total amount each month, it doesn't match the amount for that month shown in the annual income report. The income shown over the life of the install is way above and beyond what was actually earned.

Anybody have a sense of why this would happen or how it can be fixed? As it is now, I'm not sure which data I can depend on http://forum.whmcs.com/images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks!

About "the amount totally earned" it looks like it counts all invoices not transactions.

So if you made an invoice to test something it is calculated. Also it counts the originaliteit amount from the order!

I made myself a customer and added 50 domains and some hosting packages, before invoicing/cron run i set the payment to zero also for the recurring amount; strangly enough now i made à lot of mony according to whmcs.

No you're incorrect. The homepage income total counts actual transactions not invoices. Obviously if you make tests you need to delete the system - just because you know an invoice is a test, WHMCS will not so you would need to delete any tests you do.

Both the monthly transactions and annual income reports will match as they are both calculated from transactions entered into the system (ie. payments applied to invoices)
