WarmWebHost
Hello, I need some help with my WHMCS. I would like to add downloads to the downloads page, but can anyone just go and download them? I would like to make it so you got to be a paid client to get into the downloads or even to download anything in the page? Thanks for any help i can get. trine
I new to whmcs, but, not to the web... You could do this regardless if it were not supported through the admin panel. All you need to do is use a smarty conditional testing if a client is logged in or not, and either display or hide or disable the links from there. In your folder containing the file, it is also possible to have the htaccess run a perl, sh, or php script to check for a valid session, if not present a 403 or message. Maybe this sounds a bit complicated, but I assure you it's not. (Hey maybe if I buy this thing, I'll share this, since we already do it with our existing billing platforms.) Cheers ... like the name ...gives me a warm fuzzy feeling !
JohnLB
Yes you could do a template change and use the if logged in function. That would do the trick
trine
with the logged test only, you can still download if you know the path. with what I explained, it is secured entirely.

Patty
I'd like to disable download for non-logged users as well. Since I'm no programmer, could someone kindly explain how to do that, since it seems so easy? Tks in advance.
