griffe Posted April 16, 2010 Share Posted April 16, 2010 Hello, When placing an order, we need the customer to fill out a custom text field or text area box (easy) - however we need this text to also appear on the INVOICE. Currently we have the product setup with the custom field 'location'. When ordering the customer can enter this information... However it does not appear anywhere on the order. I thought that maybe we could setup a 'custom configuration' option as a text field and call it location... But it seems there is no way to have a text field as a custom configuration option. Any ideas on how to get my 'location' field to appear on the order? We need this so the customer known which office the bill relates to (they have many offices). What id does is before the order is placed / invoice is generated, the invoice / order information is updated with your chosen custom field.
