question about Auto Redirect on Checkout

I was doing some testing with a testing client account and ordered a product. I used paypal for payment type and clicked the checkout button. the screen with the red bar came up to redirect the client to the payment gateway but instead of going to paypal it sends me back to the shopping cart where you order items. Is this normal or should it be going to paypal?

 

I also just created a new test account and the same thing happens.. redirects to the order page and does not go to the paypal payment page??

 

anyone know what could cause this??? the paypal checkout button on the invoice does work fine.

FIXED.... I really dont recall adding or removing a form but edited my file as noted below and its working???

 

 

User Redirected to Wrong Page on Checkout

 

If you have customised your WHMCS header template and added or removed a form, you will need to update the forwardpage.tpl template file which by default will submit form 0 or 1 on the page - if you add a form to your header need to add 1 to the forms[x] setting in that file, if you remove one, you need to subtract 1
