PDF invoice doesn't have any amount

Recommended Posts

The pdf invoices are beautiful, and have everything I need...except the amount paid and what the service that was billing for. Kind of the most important items to a client.

I'm also confused about how to edit the includes/fpdf.php file. I see others referencing that's how to customize the pdf, but mine's encoded. Both the version that's been uploaded *and* my local copy.

So what am I missing?

I think what you are missing is the manual!

There is a chapter about the PDF invoice and it clearly points to: includes/pdfconfig.php

Ozzie

Nooo....I'm not missing that manual.

I got the information on how and where to edit the pdf *from* the manual.

Sorry, I was looking at fpdf.php, not pdfconfig.php.

Thank you for the reply.

This still doesn't solve the issue of why the pdf invoice printed out without an amount, which is the whole reason *for* an invoice. The printable invoice came out fine, but the downloaded pdf has no invoice information.

However that's impossible, since the file is encoded.

Perhaps you need to re-read the manual! The referenced file is not encrypted and not the filename you are saying you tried to edit.

THAT part is my mistake.

If you were really trying to be *helpful*, rather than a smartass, simply pointing that out would have been sufficient. I see you're from Georgia, so there shouldn't be a language issue.

Not trying to by a smart*** at all. If you will go back after your initial post:

Ozzie pointed you to the manual which plainly states the filename along with the actual filename you needed to edit. He also referenced it in his reply.

Since you were having trouble reading and seeing that the filename was incorrect that you were trying to edit, you will see I only suggested you re-read the manual again...

After all wasn't it you that said

I'm still pretty sure you can't edit the actual table in the invoice - which is where the amount will be. Have you checked with Matt?

Is it showing in the printable (html) version of your invoice? from what I can make out the tables are the same.

[edit]just re read your post and that one is fine so not sure at all[/edit]

Not too sure - just suggestions to look at :)

Mara,

If the problem you're having is that in the PDF invoice only the logo, address lines and PAID/UNPAID stamp appear, you have the problem I had with my trial version, and no, you're (probably) not doing anything wrong!

Matt installed my production version for me which worked fine on the same server. I don't know if he fixed something in WHMCS or whether I did something wrong with the install, regardless there IS a solution and Matt should be able to help.
