Help with conditional display "if statement" on email invoice

Hi all,

 

I would like to create a "conditional display" on my invoice email template, similar to what WHMCS does when I get my invoice.

 

Basically, if a customer has a Credit Card on file, they see a note that their CC will be charged on the due date. If no CC on file, the message doesn't come up, or a different paypal message would be seen. (I only offer CC or Paypal payment options)

 

 

First, what does the {$invoice_payment_method} field show?

 

I see the fields I believe I would need... such as:

{$invoice_payment_method}

{$client_cc_type}

 

 

So, as an example:

Customer has CC on file, and sees a message such as:

Payment will be taken automatically on 03/16/2010 from your credit card on record with us.

 

If there is no CC on file then they would see something like this.

 

(If a paypal hosting recurring subscription:)

Payment will be taken automatically on 03/16/2010 from Paypal. If this invoice includes a domain name renewal, that will need to be manually paid via Paypal.
