Budda.ME
Hi there, I've recently installed WHMCS and everything is up and working fine but I've come across the slight problem that all the emails WHMCS sends out, e.g. with Invoices or Account information, they go into gmail, yahoo, hotmail etc's spam boxes? I'd rather this not be happening and wondering what I could do to get around it. Kind Regards.
neobug103
Honestly, this happens to everybody. I know you can check to make sure your account has an SPF record which might help, but for obvious reasons gmail, yahoo, hotmail don't release info on how to make your email avoid getting into the spam box. Perhaps somebody else can provide some more incite....

neobug103
How did you fix it?
disgruntled
yes this information would be excellent for everybody. I would suggest until you have something tangible to apply to your system you add in somewhere to request that your client adds your domain to their safelist. While that is a clumsy way of getting around the problem and be sure it does. there has to be a set way to set up the email server, dns and indeed content and subject lines of the emails that will lead to less junking.
