<solved> client details not being registered in whois

Once a client registers a domain name via whmcs, i accept order, domain gets registered, but the client details are not on the whois records, my customer account i made in directi is being used instead.

 

I need to have the clients info from whmcs be used for the domain registration.

 

Referring to the manual:

 

"Next, go to Customers > Add. This customer will be the customer where all your domains are registered under - DirectI does not allow a reseller to register domains in their reseller account - all have to be done in a customer account

Once the user is added (it does not matter what the details of this user are - domains contact info still relates to each individual client you register a domain for in WHMCS) go to Customers > List and note that Customers ID"

 

In the Domain Registrars / General Settings, i have "use client details" checked as well. So why is the domain being registered with my "directi customer" details and the client details in whmcs?

for some reason the 2nd time i registered a domain under a different client it worked.
