WHMCS ODR registration module 1.0

Opendomainregistry is large and cheap supplier of domain names. They deliver a realtime registration system with a extensive API set.

 

This module uses that API set for registration and transfer of domain names.

 

Currently supported

- Registration

- Transfer

- Automatic creation of contacts with the needed roles and DNS

 

Need to apply

- No support yet for trade and transfer

- No support yet for changing/retrieving contact details

 

This is the first release of the module and we used it to tranfer/register hundreds of domains with it. By releasing it to the community i hope that we can develop this module further together.

 

*For .nl domain names ODR first creates a contact role within SIDN. since the communication between SIDN and ODR is e-mail based this takes some minutes. Once the contact role is created the domain can be registered.

So a fresh registration can take up to 2 action, first creation of the contacts and second registration of the domain name.
