Greetings,

I work at a development firm and we provide 3 different services to our clients. These 3 services go with 2 different products we offer. Many of our clients came from another provider who didn't offer what they were promised so we gained the rights to use their script so we can provide maintenance releases but we also developed our own custom platform for those who wish to migrate from the old script to our script.

The products we provide:

1. Maintenance Patch: This updates their current website script with bug fixes and security fixes along with some customizations we made. One time fee of $350.00.

2. Our Custom Platform: This is a brand new platform and we migrate their database from their old script to the new script, set it up, and configure it for them.

Note: For the Custom Platform they can pay a startup fee of $250.00 and subscribe to one of our services, or they can pay $900.00 without the need to sign up for our services.

The services we provide: Both are monthly services we bill clients for.

1. Silver Package: $84.00 with Hosting , $75.00 without Hosting

2. Gold Package: $150.00 with Hosting (This plan can't be purchased without hosting)

All of our services and packages are on a per-domain basis. Many of our clients have multiple domains though so we offer discounts for these clients. (We don't offer domain purchasing options or renewals because the clients already have domains they purchased elsewhere)

For example:

On the Silver Package with hosting, our first 2 domains you order the package for is $84.95 monthly each. We charge $69.95 per domain for your 3rd domain and every domain after. For example if you have 4 domains, your first 2 domains will cost you $84.95 each, and your 3rd and 4th domain will cost $69.95 each. The Silver Package without hosting is done exactly the same but with different prices.

The same concept above also applies to our Gold Package, except the pricing is:

  • 1 Domain = $150 monthly
  • 2 Domains = $250 monthly ($125 ea)
  • 3 Domains = $325 monthly ($108 ea)
  • etc

Also for the Gold Package, the discounted rate only applies up to 5 domains. However we offer discount packages for packs of 10 domains which brings the cost down to $65.00 each domain per 10 pack.

At the moment I'm completely clueless as to where to begin in setting up the products in WHMCS to accomplish the above.

We are currently doing this via paypal buttons on our website which works our pretty well but if we can get it to work for WHMCS it would allow us to streamline so much more.

Thank you in advance for any assistance or suggestions on how to proceed forward. :)

One thing I forgot to mention.

Because of how we update the scripts via the backend, every domain the client has is on a separate hosting account.

So for example, The Gold Package... if a client signs up for 3 domains... it's actually 3 different hosting accounts for that one client.

I'm trying to figure this out, but my brain is kind of on the verge of dripping out my ears lol...

I'm open to any suggestions, comments, or advice... I'm not sure how I should go about creating the products/services so I can begin using WHMCS..

Thank you in advance :).
