Remote Ticket Tracker (QWHMCS Style)

Hi,

I cannot get QWHMCS to work on Windows 7 (it used to work fine when I had XP) but it just seems to have a lot of issues with new operating systems. Im interested in creating a tool similar to it, as I have been using Kayako InstaAlert and it is a life saver. My problem is that I checked out the QWHMCS source code, and it is all in a different language (completely unreadable) as well as I do not do visual basics either. I am creating a new application using Qt and c++ but im trying to figure out what method would be suggested for checking ticket information, such as new tickets, and so on. I would like to use the API, but this type of project for me is a bit different from what I am accustomed to, so im not sure what the best method of connecting to the API from a remote application would be.

Any information would be great, thanks!
