arpowers
I'm trying to set up WHMCS to sell download products... it seems WHMCS is invoicing people for downloadable products, before they purchase. The process should go as follows: site "add product to cart" > Checkout > Pay > Receipt with WHMCS: site "add product to cart" > Checkout > "create pointless invoice for unsuspecting user" > Pay > Receipt Please help me remove the invoice step prior to purchase. thanks
igeek
You can change this in... Settings--> General Settings Go to the 'ordering tab' and select 'Automatically forward the user to the payment gateway' This will fix your problem
arpowers
Helps the problem but the invoice is still generated... and if they bail after checkout (but before payment) the invoice shows up as an open-invoice. Its like creating a bill for your groceries before you buy them *(then getting a bill for something if you decide to put it back on the shelf)
arpowers
Also if the user decides to checkout before purchase... they get an email about the bill AND an email about the order; before they ever buy! How can we change all this to after they have actually purchased? Could we use the API? if so, how?
