Jay
I don't know why I haven't noticed this before but I was trying to install WHMCS for a client and when it asked me CHMOD configuration.php to 777, however in v3 there isn't a configuration.php file, I tried to change configuration.php.new and but didn't work. Anyone got any ideas? EDIT: haha never mind, I found the solution. You have to change configuration.php.new to configuration.php.
PPH
Are you sure you read the install readme first?
Jay
Are you sure you read the install readme first? When you've installed/upgraded as many copies as I have, you'd think you wouldn't have too! Strangely the first version 3 install I've done. PPH
When all else fails.....read the instructions. Yep it was a change in V3 so installers wouldn't overwrite their configuration.php
