SoftSmart.co.za
Hi everyone, I've set up WHMCS to create the web hosting account and the invoice and send the welcome email when the client checks out (pretty standard, I'm sure). The problem seems to be that because there's a fair amount of work going on to do all this, it sometimes takes quite long. It seems like users then close the window too soon, and then they don't get their welcome mail with all the logins, etc. Is there a way to set it up so that on checkout it simply writes the record to the db and generates the invoice. A separate cron job can then check for any accounts that need to be created in cpanel / whm. This would mean that the user is not "delayed" too much. Thanks, John Edited January 14, 2010 by SoftSmart.co.za typos
