Invoice payment confirmation date

Not sure if this is a bug.

 

When applying payment to an invoice, most times we do it on the day after client paid (we use "boleto" system in Brazil, payment just shows on bank the day after it's paid). So we change the date paid to the day before when adding paymento to invoice, the date when it was really paid. This is all fine. But invoice payment confirmation shows the date paid as today's, not the invoice's real payment date we applied, which is the one shown on the invoice.

 

Email template uses {$invoice_date_paid}

 

I couldn't find any other date variable to use. So is this correct? Shouldn't {$invoice_date_paid} show the invoice date payment we applied?

We have the same problem and already reported it quite some time ago. Due to this bug the Sales Tax Liability report is incorrect as well
