greenhosts
Hi there, after a client chooses a hosting option, they get 3 options. Buy a domain, transfer, or use their own. at the moment, I don't want to offer the first 2 options. In the products settings, I can untick 'Tick to show domain registration options' but then they get no options, and their domain info, and hosting account username are blank, and the links to the webmail and cpanel are blank. anyone know a solution to this issue? Plus, when the client views the shopping cart, they get this options in tabs: Hosting | Product Addons | Register Domain | Transfer Domain | View Cart. Again, I don't really want register and transfer in that list until I can offer these properly. Cheers Jon
greenhosts
The error I get when trying to create an account for someone who didn't get to enter their domain name is 'Sorry, that's an invalid domain'. I can't really make up a domain, so I need to ask them... Cheers
RMIGHTY1
Hello Greenhosts. You need to configure two separate areas in your admin panel. 1) Setup > General Settings > Domains tab > Domain Registration Options Uncheck the first two domain options: Allow clients to register domains with you Allow clients to transfer a domain to you Allow clients to use their own domain 2) Setup > Products/Services > Edit Product > Details > Require Domain Check the "Tick to show domain registration options" box. Step 2 is required for each product offering. ******** You can deactivate the domain addons by simply not checking their respective boxes in the domain pricing area. When you are ready to activate them, they can be found at the very bottom of the Setup > Domain Pricing page in the Domain Addons section. Whether they then show for each tld is determined by whether or not they are checked in the main domain pricing table on that same page. Cheers! ~~Ray Edited January 11, 2010 by RMIGHTY1
