Setting up Email Forwarding Host.

timmyg

Question

Hey all,

I own a truckload of kickass domains...

I want people to be able to register theirname@mykickassdomains.com and have it forward to their current email accounts.

I need:

1) Check username availability

2) Payment

3) Create email account

4) Assign forwarding address

Billing would be a recurring yearly payment through Paypal, and users should have the ability to login and change the forwarding address.

Would I need to heavily modify this suite to achieve my goals?

Cheers in advance.

Tim

A simple plugin would do this for you. By simple I mean that the WHMCS side is very simple (pretty much copy&paste of the example snippets found on the forum and documentation.)

The question of course is what kind of e-mail setup you use and how you would be able to interface with it. If it's something like postfix on a mysql backend, you should be good to go with handful hours of coding.
