But you might as well get a different server for your site. You can PM me and we can work something out if you still need it. shwa Posted February 20, 2007 Author Share Posted February 20, 2007 The reason i need it is i have no time to upgrade or fix whmcs. Any amount of time spent on it is a GIGANTIC waste of money for me. I am so far behind and people are begging for my time ... price no object. But instead i am wasting time and down half way through and upgrade. I just want it to work. i really don't care how much it costs. I'm some what shocked that cURL is not already installed on your server by default. Guess some one needs to recompile PHP. shwa Posted February 20, 2007 Author Share Posted February 20, 2007 PHP has been recompiled .... the install has been left at the point where i get this error: The file /home/**mydomainname.com**/public_html/members/includes/invoicefunctions.php cannot be decoded by this version of the ionCube Loader. If you are the administrator of this site then please install the latest version of the ionCube Loader. I have put in tickets but get no response. I tried downloading/unzipping/uploading ionCube from version 3 but it still gives that error. I probably should just wait for matt since i paid for the upgrade and he started it. I really like WHMCS but it is the first script of this sort that i have used so i have nothing to compare it to. I hope i can find a US/Canada based company to support this script. Adam Posted February 20, 2007 Share Posted February 20, 2007 Hey, That error you are getting can be fixed local. What you need to do is download, http://downloads2.ioncube.com/loader_downloads/ioncube_loaders_lin_x86.zip and extract all the files from that zip file into a folder called ioncube. Place that folder into public_html folder since whmcs is installed in public_html/members. So it should look something like public_html <-- WWW folder public_html/ioncube <-- the ioncube loader folder public_html/members <--- your WHMCS install public_html/members/admin <-- admin area of WHMCS This should fix the problem. If not then you need to deleted the ioncube loader line in your servers php.ini (the one every website uses) then restart apache and you should be good to go. I don't know if it is working or is the latest version but at least my clients don't get an error. I will have to look at it more closely tomorrow.
