Whmcs works really well. I use it without any third-party mods, and I am sure there are a lot of whmcs users that do not use third-party mods, so why would we stop using whmcs if there was no third-party developers? As for being abused on these forums, as bear has said, report the post, that way the moderators can do something about it.
