serverx Posted February 16, 2007 Share Posted February 16, 2007 As reseller i just received today an email from ResellerClub, the updated the API system to the version 3.6, some methods it's now deprecated so we will have problem whit WMCS registar Module from now on ? this is the email that i received: Below is the list of changes from the previous version: Deprecated Methods The following methods are deprecated and their use should be discontinued: DomOrder.transferDomain use DomOrder.addTransferDomain DomOrder.transferDomainWithoutValidation use DomOrder.addTransferDomain DomOrder.addTransferDomainWithoutvalidation use DomOrder.addTransferDomain DomOrder.add use DomOrder.registerDomain DotEu.add use DomOrder.registerdomain DomContact.add use DomContact.addContact DomContact.addDefaultContact use DomContact.addDefaultContacts DomContact.list use DomContact.listByType Note: While these methods are currently available, they are no longer supported and may be discontinued in the near future. New Methods The following new methods were added. WebHostingOrderData.getHostingMetaData DomContactExt.getDefaultContactId DomContact.listByType DomOrder.addTransferDomain DomOrder.changePrivacyProtectionStatus DomOrder.registerDomain Product.getProductMetadata Changes DomOrder.bulkAdd and DomOrder.bulkAddTransferDomain now also accept Privacy Protection related flags. Please refer the Domains API Documention for details. The invoiceOption parameter has been added to MailHostingPlanOnlyOrder.add, WindowsHostingPlanOnlyOrder.add and LinuxHostingPlanOnlyOrder.add Bug Fixes The ns parameter has been removed from DomOrder.validateDomainTransferParams. Note: All Resellers who had downloaded the API Kit in the past 1 week, would need to download the latest copy of the kit and documentation as an earlier version had a bug in it. " There is no urgent need for any changes to WHMCS as the old methods will continue to function but the use the new function names.
