Many of my registered [co].uk domains are failing to display the registrant name in the back-end. Whilst this is a required field when registering a new domain, the field is empty in the back-end. Checking this with the Nominet whois of course the information is there! The client is able to see the contact name, so this is is a bug related to the admin section. Please look into this.

Has anyone else started to experience issues with the Nominet plugin in WHMCS? Speaking to Nominet they say we're the second WHMCS based registrar to contact them in as many days with EPP related issues Looking back in the logs there seem to have been issues since at least the beginning of November which roughly coincides with when we upgraded to 5.3.10 Most seem to be related to the cron jobs doing domain sync, however we have just identified at least one renewal which didn't complete due to "Error: Connection closed by remote server" Nominet say "not us" ... I've raised a ticket with WHMCS but not had a response as yet and wondered if anyone else had noticed similar issues? Checking the email reports from "WHMCS Domain Synchronisation Cron Report" shows lots of "connection closed" responses against uk domains

At QiQ we are presently extending our Docsaway WHMCS module. At present, it can be used to mail WHMCS invoices through the post from around 20 Worldwide locations. We are enhancing the module so it can be used to confirm the address of clients. In summary, when criteria is met, a letter is sent to a client containing a verification code. The client then logs into their WHMCS installation, enters the verification code and the client is then recorded as 'Verified". If a client does not complete the verification after a configurable number of days following the mailing of the letter, an email is sent to the WHMCS admin address advising the client remains unverified. The admin could then, for example, cancel an order. As an Accredited Nominet member we will be using this process when Nominet is unable to verify a contacts address. By sending a letter and having the mailing address verified we are able to meet Nominets requirements. We have confirmed with Nominet that this approach will be acceptable. We would welcome any comments or thoughts on this module and if you would like to be advise when it is available, please subscribe here - /http://qiq.us7.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=95de786cb0f99f21a6b5895fd&id=aab4efc397

Has anyone else noticed a problem with clients updating UK names through Enom* If the client attempts to make a change through the Client interface at /whmcs/clientarea.php?action=domaincontacts then the changes are not made and an error returns 'registered_for:Not Specified:Required value not specified' ** However, making the change through the Admin interface (Modify Contact Details button) do work. whmcs/admin/clientsdomaincontacts.php?domainid=nnnnn I would have expected the same WHMCS code to change the contacts to be used whether it was client or admin but it is clearly not as one works and the other does not. Is anyone else experiencing this? Trevor * We have uk. domains registered with a number of different registrars and this error only seems to occur on the Enom platform. ** This particular error message has occurred in the past where names have been imported and the registrants name is missing in WHMCS. On this occasion it is not applicable as I have checked that each name matches the name in the WHOIS
