  1. I would like to manually "hack" this. Is this possible? Can you point me to the file(s) I would need to look at to try to change the send from name when sending emails?
  2. The configuration file contains the encryption key that is used to encrypt your users passwords and other items such as the security questions. So if you copied the database, you will need the encryption key to correctly verify your users passwords, otherwise users will get wrong password even though they have entered the correct one. Best bet, would be to restore your database and copy the encryption key from the configuration file over, otherwise, you'll just have to create new password for each customer using the new encryption key.

  4. Hi! I was moving my whmcs installation to a new location, and backed up my databased, and then restored it in the new installation. The problem is my security questions are now all scrambled, but the values in phpmyadmin are the same as the old one. Are the security questions encrypted using the license key? How can I update the questions as users are already using them. Thanks
  5. I've got similar problems.... when I visit http://subdomain.xyz.com twitter loads fine, but when http://www.xyz.com/subdomain/ is opened only the loading bar can be seen, as if it is "stuck".
  6. Update 2: Turns out you have to assign the department to a user before tickets will be shown. My bad... Anyone know the answer to number 2 (above)?
  7. Update: Just went into phpmyadmin and found the missing tickets in tbltickets, but they aren't in Support > Support Tickets. But Admin home shows there are 5 tickets awaiting reply (the 5 missing tickets). Still investigating...
  8. Hello, I've got two issues I'd like to sort out. 1. I have created a new support department, (abuse@xyz.com). When a user emails abuse@xyz.com, WHMCS sends the auto-reply but does not list the email under support tickets. Could not figure out why this is happening! 2. When WHMCS auto-replies the "name" of the email is Company Name Support department, e.g. XYZ Abuse. Where do I set what XYZ (wrt to emails) is (WHMCS asks for company name in different places) and is there a way to have a different "name" for each department, rather then the automatic one given by WHMCS. Help appreciated
  9. Hello, Just updated to 4.3.1 and liked the new ajax order form (except for not having register/transfer domain option). How can I make it the default cart option so that when users click order in whmcs it will take them to this ajax form? Thanks
  10. So where can I put the translation of security questions entered in admin panel, such that they are shown correctly with the correct language?
  11. I just finished setting up my current orders onto WHMCS and wanted to check what the income forecast would look like. I was surprised to see only price of hosting to be included, where are domain prices? Also, when listing All Products/Services domains are not shown... Aren't domains part of product/services?
  12. Hello everyone, Just started using WHMCS and finding it great. I've successfully imported accounts from WHM but noticed "orders" weren't created for them. I then added some extra domains that some customers had and found that orders were created for them. Can anyone just clarify the use of having "orders" and why the import script doesn't create orders automatically. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. Thanks in advance
