  1. If i remember correctly, i was moving from a Payflow pro account gateway to an authorize.net cim. For it to work properly, i had to clear all the gateway id's and credit card (last 4 digits) data from the WHMCS database for all the clients and they had to manually again pay once then it was being stored by CIM for recurring transactions. Everything is running smooth now.. but a little hassle for clients. Please dont completely rely on me... im not a complete programmer.. i just know support gave me nothing from WHMCS. Things to try: under General Settings->Security: make sure that "Disable Credit Card Storage" is UNCHECKED. I also removed the option from the check out page in my theme preventing people from checking Do not store credit card, because if they checked it it will throw a payment error. (they can always remove it from their client account later in their WHMCS Login) If you want to try go ahead and make a brand new test client account try and pay a test invoice (dont check "do not store credit card") and see if it goes. If it goes fine, then that is a good indication the current stored data for clients is conflicting with the new gateway. Like i said i cleared out the gateway id's and store 4 digit CC's from the database. *******ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP **************** ******** DO NOT TAKE THIS AS FACT OR SUPPORT, IM JUST GIVING YOU OPTIONS OF WHAT I DID ****************
  2. Anybody have a solution for clearing all credit card details from all clients at one time? SQL query? Right now you can go client by client, but that would take forever.
  3. Im trying to integrate Authorize CIM, got my api entered in and went test it out and i get an error. The normal authorize.net gateway works fine, so i know the api information is right. What is the problem?? I entered a support ticket, but support has let me down a lot over the last month and a half with other issues unresolved. Log: Invoice ID => 1314 User ID => 1 Amount => 1.00 UserID => 1 Action => CreateCustomer XMLData => <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><ErrorResponse xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns="AnetApi/xml/v1/schema/AnetApiSchema.xsd"><messages><resultCode>Error</resultCode><message><code>E00003</code><text>The 'AnetApi/xml/v1/schema/AnetApiSchema.xsd:cardNumber' element is invalid - The value '' is invalid according to its datatype 'String' - The actual length is less than the MinLength value.</text></message></messages></ErrorResponse>
  4. sorry but if i click that right below the post count.. it gives 404 error
  5. Ive attached my php session settings. Anything look out of whack? that would prevent some users from being able to login? Its like the dologin.php file has issues or my session settings are messed. It happened prior to 5.0 and i updated to 5.0 this past week and its still happening.. doesnt matter what template i use for my client area. Im at a lost for words and it appears that no one knows how to fix it... even WHMCS.com Support doesnt know.
  6. sent you a PM to get your chat info. Thanks again
  7. Okay the client i asked to try and login still has the issue... i just tried in safari for Mac and i can confirm that the issue is still their... if i try and login with Firefox on Mac it works just fine. Sparky, Can we text-chat over Skype? i can provide you with a link and username and password for you to take a look. My Skype name is: ijpweb im on right now.
  8. actually, i cleared my history and cache and it worked! now im waiting to see if a client that was having trouble can get in. Ill let you know what i find out. Thanks! Hope this fixed it.
  9. Sparky here is the permissions before i changed them: drwxrwxrwx 2 root apache 233472 Jan 15 08:33 session Here are the permissions after i changed them: drwxrwxrwt 2 root apache 233472 Jan 15 08:36 session i try to login with an account on Safari on Mac.. and the samething happens... it quickly goes to dologin.php then right back to clientarea.php clears the form and no error. The weird thing is if i go to my whmcs admin dashboard... it shows in the "recent Client activity" me logging in. After i try to login as a client on safari on my clientarea.php page... even though it doesnt throw an error i try to manually go to /clientarea.php?action=details but it wont let me it just goes to the clientarea.php login form.
  10. Sparky. Is there a code to use to find out what the permissions are currently on the path before I change it to see if it is wrong? And yes I will be using ssh. I running plesk on a Vps.
  11. Sparky - The other post.. i didnt think it went through because it never showed up... plus it was more of a job post to see if anyone was interested in a pay fix. Sorry about that. Sparky you said in the other post that i should have 777 persmissions on where the sessions get created. if i check my phpinfo page it says session.save_path = /var/lib/php/session Is this the directory you are saying that should have 777 persmission on it? CKH - I dont think that should be the problem, i have my htaccess force www on all pages so when people go to the clientarea.php it switches to www regardless. And in my WHMCS settings i have www in the WHMCS Path and HTTPS path. So do you think my setup should avoid that problem?
  12. Some clients are having problems logging in to the clientarea. If the user goes to the clientarea.php and trys to log in with the right username and password the page just refreshes and the login form clears. No error no nothing. This happens intermittenly to people across different browsers. Safari Mac seems to have a problem, firefox 8.0.1 Windows has had a problem, and IE 8 has had the problem. But even across browsers its inconsistent to believe its a browser problem. I use a custom template, and i have tried going back to the default template from whmcs and it still happened. Like i said it happens sometimes to different people. But its happening to many times that i need to fix it. Any ideas?
  13. My WHMCS has a little technical problem that support has been unable to help with. I have clients intermittenly unable to login. Ive seen it happen to. Intermittenly a user will try to login from the clientarea.php page and when they try to login it just stays on the page and does not take them to their client account. The log in form just clears and no errors happen. It inconsistently happens in different browsers. I dont think its its my custom template because it happened while i ran the default whmcs client area theme. Ive seen it happen on IE 8, firefox for windows, safari for mac. Like i said, when the username password is correct it just stays on the login page and clears the form... in safari for mac i see the page go to dologin.php for a split second and then returns to clientarea.php and clears the login form. If the username and password is incorrect it does stay on the clientarea.php page and says "Error wrong password/username..etc" Who can help?
  14. When a customer goes to pay in invoice.. there is an option to enter new CC information. However the fields are not showing. If you click continue it throws the validation of please enter New CC information and then the fields show up... is this a styling problem? Seems it just started after i upgraded to 4.3 i attached a screen shot
  15. thanks that fixed it... i wasnt sure if the other thread i searched for was the right answer because it looked like it was UK related and not US... sorry for the double post
