Resellerclub cron broken after update to WHMCS 7.2.1
knipper replied to knipper's topic in Using WHMCS
Thanks for the reply and links Brian! Long story... As you can tell I've been using WHMCS for a LONG time! Pretty sure I was still on 5.2 before the upgrade. I actually sold my hosting business in 2010, but kept one reseller server for my personal domains... and 2 long time clients who didn't want to move away from me. Of course one of them uses Resellerclub for their domains! Looks like I may need to go thru the docs and set up a new cron! If I have any difficulties or questions I'll pop back in. I think this is the first time I've used the forum for several years as well! Good to see it's still a strong community! -
Hi, I just updated from a very old version of WHMCS to 7.2.1 (and today to 7.2.2) my main cron jobs are working fine, but my resellerclub cron is sending an error with a connection problem. Below is the error: Warning: main(/home/myaccount/public_html/clientarea/modules/registrars/resellerclub/../../../dbconnect.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/myaccount/public_html/clientarea/modules/registrars/resellerclub/resellerclubsync.php on line 0 Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/home/myaccount/public_html/clientarea/modules/registrars/resellerclub/../../../dbconnect.php' (include_path='.:/opt/php56/lib/php') in /home/myaccount/public_html/clientarea/modules/registrars/resellerclub/resellerclubsync.php on line 0 I suspect it may be a simple cron entry error or something minor that changed from the old version I am just missing. Any suggestions on this message? Thanks in advance!

Sorry I didn't come back sooner. Here's the scoop. othellotech... I had applied a payment when it was originally received. (As noted in my original post) But was still not showing up why is why I tried adding the transaction. So I went and took a look at the invoice as well as both "payments" which were now showing under the clients history. The original one showed 00/00/0000 as the date stamp. I deleted the transaction I had added, I then edited the original one where the payment was added to invoice when it was received (by adding a date) - That fixed the total income. So it appears when I posted the initial payment, somehow the date didn't take. Without the date WHMCS won't include it in the total evidently.

Hi All, I noticed that my "Income" which is displayed on the home page of the admin area when you log in was incorrect. It shows all credit card and Paypal amounts and totals correctly, but does not add in amount of Mail In Payments. (At least in my case) When the mail in payment was made, I added it to the invoice and marked paid. (This was a few weeks ago) when I noticed this yesterday, I went into the transactions area, and added a transaction showing a mail in payment. I waited overnight for the cron to run just in case. I checked again today... still not correct. Plus, now when I look at client I made payment for, it shows too much income paid in. So I will need to remove that manual entry of the transaction. Any suggestion how to get the income to correctly show mail in payments?

Thanks John... A few hours later the client got the transfer email... and used the correct EPP... still waiting for the actual transfer to take place. But no errors now. Thanks for the response!

Hi all, I had a client order a domain transfer. All went well, but when they submitted the epp code they used the wrong code so the transfer failed. Once we cleared up the EPP issues - I went back into WHMCS to re-initiate a transfer request, but the client is not getting the request email from resellerclub. I then changed the status back to "pending transfer" which showed me an option to "resend transfer approval email" . Still nothing. I attempted again to re-initate the transfer but now get this error... "An Error Occurred The domain thenameimtransfering.com already exists in our database. This may occur if there is a pending Order for thenameimtransfering.com in our database under your account or any other account. You may search for this domain within your control panel. If you do not find this domain within your profile please contact our Support Department." Any suggestions? I need the client to get the transfer request so we can use the correct EPP code to get the domain transferred over completely. Thanks!

I had not updated yet, but will today. I too would like to hear from WHCMS developers, just in case!

resellerclub domain sync not reporting all domains under account
knipper replied to knipper's topic in Using WHMCS
Thanks James... That was easy enough. Made the changes, then I manually ran the cron... and sure enough the domains were now showing up and sync'd. Thanks for the help! -
Hi All, I just checked my cron based database backup and have an empty file. Researching the forum I found this thread: http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?51266-V5-1-Patches&p=235450#post235450 which includes a patch... but this was from last July just after 5.1 was released. Should this patch still be applied since I am running the latest version of WHMCS?

resellerclub domain sync not reporting all domains under account
knipper replied to knipper's topic in Using WHMCS
Hi James... that's the thing. Since the domains were not purchased via WHMCS (But were purchased via resellerclub), but were then pushed to a client (me) on my WHMCS account the domains do not show up within WHMCS. (except under the hosting portion of the account) Which is now why I assume they do not show up in the sync. How can they be added within WHMCS, to this accounts domain section and get sync'd - since they already exist within reseller club for the same account. -
Hi All, Some time ago, I had 2 domains pushed to my resellerclub account from a different resellerclub account. These domains are hosted on my server and show within WHMCS under my product/services (along with many other domains/services). However, when my overnight cron runs, and I get the report on the sync these 2 domains that were pushed do not appear in the sync report. I have 2 more domains that need to be pushed over, but need them all (including the ones not showing) to be included in the sync. What steps to I need to do to get all resellerclub domains under this account to be sync'd?

Thanks for the summary John.

Now I'm totally confused! My cron ran over night, but yet the accounts were not removed from the server. Over the next few days I'm going to test some more to see what happens. I'll need to upgrade WHMCS as well, as I am a couple updates behind as well. I'm just confused as I KNOW I never manually had to run the terminate command or remove accounts via WHM. I had always used the Cancelled flag, as that is how I tracked how a customer left my services. Cancelled meant they left on their own. (By requesting a cancellation) and Terminated was I shut their account down for non-payment, or they just disappeared. Or maybe I'm just losing my mind!
-
Hey Bear... I think that's it. I just finally had a chance to read the knowledge base as well... I think it was probably removed via cron. I'm gonna let it ride overnight, and see if they get deleted. Yes, it was sent via the cancellation link, and I manually set it to cancelled. I'll see what happens overnight, and let you know. If they don't get deleted when the cron runs, I'll set to terminate. But I think it will work, which is why I never used terminate previously. Thanks for the responses!

Well That's why I am confused here. In the past I received a cancellation request from the client... I would change the dropdown to cancelled and save the screen. I THOUGHT - at that time WHMCS ran the module command to remove the account from the server. As mentioned before I don't remember to having manually remove the accounts from the server via WHM. I have never used terminate, except a couple years ago when I was testing WHMCS Can others verify you need to use terminate to have WHMCS remove the account from the server? Thanks again!
