  1. I need the same thing - did you get anywhere with this? Thanks Matthew
  2. Anyone know of any neat systems for generating billing out of raw call data records (CDR's so I'm told) from a VoIP distributor? We would like to take over customer billing and get everything on one invoice, but that means getting CDR data into a pipeline that WHMCS can work with. I've no idea where to even look for a suitable starting point - anyone got experience here? Thanks Matthew
  3. Hi all - need some wisdom. We generally invoice for services billed by calendar month and most of our customers pay in advance. However there's a handful that negotiated payment in arrears. So: Customers who pay in advance:- • Invoiced on the first of the month, fall due 14days later on 15th Customers who pay in arrears:- • Invoiced on the last day of the month, fall due 14 days later on 14th I'm trying to shoehorn this into WHMCS and having trouble with the description text that appears on the invoices for customers paying in arrears. The invoices being generated always include a time period calculated for payment in advance. And if I edit the first invoice, subsequent invoices still get regenerated for payment in advance next month. What's the best approach to dealing with this? Should I be expecting to get some kind of hook coded based on a custom field in the customer record or is there some easier way? Thanks in advance. Matthew
  4. It's belated, but "Me Too!". I've not been referring to the backups at all since installation so I can't be sure when they stopped working, but the archives coming out of WHMCS for me are corrupt. I'll raise a ticket. Regards Matthew
  5. I'm having a problem with an installation we're trying to get up and running. I've been doing billing runs with the date on the server set forward to the beginning of September so I can test the transition from the old system to the new. I've flicked the date back on the system and now my Admin page comes up white. I've turned on errors (per the sticky) but I'm not seeing any errors reported (in fact still nothing at all). Anyone got ant ideas where to start for this? Thanks Matthew
  6. OK, at least I know where I am. Thanks for the response. <sidles off to the feature request forums...> Matthew
  7. John, If I set the product price to $0.00 then it appears in the shopping cart as $0.00. If I set it to -1 and just have the pricing on the quantity option, it appears as free and doesn't charge for anything no matter what price there may be on the option. Is there a way to use quantities that doesn't leave the shopping cart showing $0.00 pricing? What am I doing wrong? Thanks Matthew
  8. John, Can you give some more detail on *how* the configurable options would be used to set a quantity. We sell services which are bought in quantity. I expected to be able to define the service and then add a configurable option for quantity so that it would be used to multiply the main product price i.e. Product 1 - Monthly recurring of £20 with quantity option of 15 created with no pricing values in the option table should produce an order with a value of £300 This just produces an order with a value of £20. Maybe that's exactly what you expected, and you intend that we set the value of the quantity option in the pricing table attached to it? I can do that and it seems to add up. However the shopping cart then shows the items as costing nothing? That can't be what you intended and creates a misleading impression for the shopper. How would you do this? Thanks Matthew (sorry for butting in wifiguys)
