  1. AHHH, i didnt add the "target="_self"> part. I'll try it now, thank you.
  2. Hello i keep getting a "License Validation Failed" error when i try to put the log-in code into the main page of my website. I understand that it is most likely because it's outside the main whmcs directory but how do i work around this. I want to add the 3 different log-ins into my website. The clent login, affiliate login, and support ticket log in.
  3. FIXED! I have hacked the module thanks to modernbill sourcecodes. Users can now choose thier own username and password at signup. It does not cause any conflict because it backs the desired name against the client database. If anyone is interested p.m. and i will send you the script.
  4. Thank you. I meant the idea of adding more api to the page or create a speacial add-on page that is coded with the enom api features from the reseller account. I think it's possable. I believe i fixed the domain nameserver issue but i am still haveing trouble with shared account being created with reseller ability.
  5. Thank you for the reply. What i was trying to do is create a much more complex feature rich page with extra feature from the enomapi code list. For example instead of just purchaseing and manageing the dns, you would be able to have an interface closer to enom with more domain oriented content and tools. I suppose now that i think about it if im are able to manage domain from the whmcs then i should be able to manage them from the enom api.
  6. Hello. The main account WHMCS, when tested for shared & reseller client account setups, have the following errors: 1.) Account Creation ERRORS: a. Shared client accounts are setup fine except the whmcs is giving regular shared client reseller capability. I have gone over all the settings in my WHM, WHMCS, Cpanel, etc. and this should not be happening. The weird thing is that it gives them reseller ability but no features in thier WHM. The panel on the left just has categories, no clickable features. b. When purchaseing just a domain name the private nameserver show up as "ns1.shownames.com" instead of "ns1.earthshost.com". When you signup for hosting with a shared or reseller account, with or without a domainname, it will give the correct nameservers - "ns1.earthshost.com" only when purchaseing a single or multiple domains without hosting does it give the nameservers - "ns1.shownames.com". I understand that this may not be due to the whmcs system but would you happen to have any idea on why it would do that? And how to go about fixing it? 2.) QUERY: I have a full reseller account with enom and i want to add the api features to the main website. I want to do something like what HostGator has with registryrocket, doesnt have to be through them but the website idea is the point, where clients who purchase domains through me will be able to manage them on my site. I want to ad the api features into the main website on my company but i want to ask, if you know, will they also be able to manage them from inside the client area of the WHMCS? Thanks.
  7. Thank you all for replying. So why not make it a optional feature and let us "liecence holders" decide to use it for thier clients or not? I want WHMCS to be used with WHM, it just seems like a no brainer but i still dont understand why allowing this feature "will not" be added"? I believe it is a very good feature. Aside from that i like everything about it. Also, what about the enom api? For example: WHMCS allows you to use a enom reseller account for domain registration. So to be able to offer the abillity to clients to manage thier purchased domains you would have to do something like adding the enom reseller api to your page or use one of the ready made shops. So is WHMCS's domains (the ones purchased through the system) able to be managed at this portal page for the domains?
  8. That sucks! It is completley unprofessional to have a system that does not allow you to choose your own username. All it does is append the domainname which is preschool like. i own 2 full liecences and now i have to look elsewhere because i dont want to appear to be a shifty fly-by night type of web-hoster. I dont see why this is not a standered "gimmie" feature. i understand the password, and the fact that there are 3 ways to change your password and none to change or choose your username. Perhaps this should be added to the feature list a.s.a.p. as not to detour clients.
  9. Hi, i'm useing WHMCS v4.0 and i can not locate this is the whmcs wiki on there website or here. I'm trying to allow new signups the ability to choose there own custom username for their cpanel packages. Right now it just apends the first 6 letters of their domain name. As far as i can tell the passwords are changable after first log-in & from inside the client area, but i can not fing the usernames feature to allow this. Does anyone know how to accomplish this in v4.0?
