  1. Hi, I need to give an affiliate of mine a link to a product eg http://mywebsite.com.au/cart.php?a=add&pid=50 and every time someone orders from the link I give them that they will get the affiliate commission. Is there a way I can combine a product link and the affiliate system? I tried adding the &aff=009 to the URL but it didnt seem to work. I've looked over the documentation and could only find the cookie based system not a specific commission of a URL for a product. If anyone can help it would be great! Thanks,
  2. Hi, Does anyone know if its possible to do a discount if more than one purchase is made of the same product type? For example if someone was to buy 3 or more .com domain names they might get a 50% discount. Or is it possible to set the price for each additional one? Another example might be that someone has come and bought x3 of the same product. The first one is $10.00 however they have ordered 3 of them so I give them a 15% discount on each one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Hi, I have one particular product that I don't want the user to see their login details. The reason for this is it is a managed service and all maintenance is done through our support department. Is it possible to disable login details from being shown on a per product basis? OR at the least disable so any 'cpanel' account login details are simply not shown? Thanks,
  4. I've just found in the documentation how to change the order form on the fly. However how do i then get it to work with a direct product order? eg https://domainname.com/cart.php?a=add&pid=32 is the order link for the product. Where abouts do I add the "?carttpl=default" part? EDIT: Ok found the solution.. I just needed to add & inbetween the different statements.
  5. Forcing an order form for a particular product Is it possible? Basically I have a form of my own that collects a whole bunch of details required for the product to be setup. This then forwards the user on to WHMCS for the billing and i wanted to know if I can force a particular form to cut back on the options that are displayed. For example I don't really want them to have the ability to update the cart. I just want it to go straight to the checkout page. Any ideas?
  6. We were using a trial one while we were demoing, however after we realised that we can force the template from the URL we realised we could dev on our live version. It still doesn't work on our live one unfortunately. However we may have a solutions, it turns out that for some reason the site was done in the customer_c version so we are going to take a backup and try redoing it as a proper template in our live one.
  7. I've already tried clearing the templates_c folder I will try the notepad trick. Cheers,
  8. hrrm, Thats really odd then. Because at the moment any time I make a change to any of the /templates/ files it just goes blank. Even if i just touch the file to update the the modified date etc.
  9. hrmm tried both of those. I've spoken to the guy that actually designed our template and we did it in the templates_c folder.. which seems to be for compiling which would kinda explain why it died once I've edited the normal templates folder. I'm thinking ill start from scratch, well i've already got the code for the template i just need to know how to get it into WHMCS. Is there a Wiki tutorial or something someone can link me to so I can read up on this? I had a look at the WHMCS documentation but that wasnt very helpful. Thanks,
  10. i just renamed the file, then renamed it back. I opened it with VIM after it didnt work i restored it from the backup still with no luck.
  11. Hi, I was looking through the files in the /template folder and edited the homepage.tpl. However i didnt actually make any changes. Now when i try and load my website only a blank page comes up? I had a backup of the file and have since restored them and still im not having any luck. The page is http://customers.exia.com.au/tempwhmcs thanks!
  12. So it does add the transaction fee to the invoice? Eg the eway fee AND the bank fee? I hope so as this is one of the biggest issues I have at the moment.
  13. One thing I would LOVE the system to do is automatically calculate credit card fee's and add it to the transaction. The same way that paypal does. The reason for this is that im currently using Paymate and they dont report back to the WHMCS the transaction fee, and 50% of the time it doesnt even mark the dam invoice as "paid" Has anyone had any issues with eway in this respect? I know that eway charge one fee (50c per transaction) plus the actual banks amount. Is this something that Eway will automatically report back to WHMCS? Or am I going to be stuck with doing it manually still?
  14. Hrmmm, We already have our bank account with ST George so id prefer to stick with them, plus I cant stand westpac... well i guess they are the same company now Thanks for your help though, I guess ill be contacting the back tomorrow.
  15. Hi Damo, Our bank is St George, do you think i should give them a call, or should I give eway a call? Little lost with the process at the moment. Cheers,
  16. Hi, I currently use paymate.com however i'm having alot of issues with them. For starters they don't report the fee back to WHMCS so I have to do it manually once a day. And users have to leave our website to make the final payment. I'm now looking at a company called eway.com.au to process the payments as they are alot cheaper. If I want to make it so the payment are based off the credit card details we have for the user in our system would rather than the user having to go to another website to pay. Would eway.com.au do this? If not can anyone else recommend an Aus company that would? Thanks.
