  1. I think some of the addons are by 3rd Parties that get included.
  2. You can stick multiple Hosting/Products under the same client. Or you can stick 1 single hosting product with 1 set of usernames, and add 2 domains to the system, with an admin note saying they are mapped. Or you treat each domain for the same site as two seperate hosting accounts, perhaps create a product group called "FREE Mappings" or something like that.
  3. It would be better, but there isn't a feature currently. Typically it takes me 60s to do the whole thing, not as bad as you make out after you've done it a few times.
  4. Are you accessing it via u&p or password hash. Either way, if they are wrong you won't be able to login. Double and Triple check your passwords are entered correctly. If that don't work, reset the WHM password, and try again. If you're using access hash, wipe it clean and try again.
  5. It's supposed to be like that. You got to remember, you can add a domain seperately in WHMCS, it's merely for keeping track for billing, add an admin not to the primary hosting account saying "this domain is also mapped to this account", the mapping of the domain you'll have to sort yourself. So whereever the DNS management control for your domain is, set it up to your private nameservers, so you have dns record control, then CNAME the addon domain to the old one. That's not the entire story, but that's roughly how I would of thought it's done.
  6. I've created a hidden area for custom quotes and jobs. Just make sure none of it is visible on the order form. Both "group" and "product" have tickboxes to prevent this. So create a standard product for that type of work, then just duplicate it, change the pricing, then when you add an order, select from the custom group folder.
  7. Well, I thought I was making progress, merged the two sites onto the same folder level. Both sites use configuration.php, so I merged the file, got errors because a variable was already defined. No problem, put them in two files, and included them with include_once, seemd to solve the problem. Then I got a database error, when I tried to include any of the root files (clientarea.php) from a folder within the cms. So I thought, I'll move the configuration data to the directory that's calling it. Seemed to work, but then the script boots me to a directory below my working directory. Seems like you've done everything in your power to disable any script including the whmcs encrypted base files. Might be good for keeping the hackers out, but as a paying customer I find it very annoying, my final attempt is to try and build the cms structure around the whmcs files, instead of pointing/including them with a component i've written. Any help is appreciated
  8. Apparently, if any of the WHMCS files are trying to be included from a parentdirectory it throws this error. If you call the function from a file in the same directory, it's fine.
  9. I realise how flexible the WHMCS system is, but it's not quite enough. "The install folder needs to be deleted for security reasons before using WHMCS" I get this error when I use an include_once php function on any of the files in the base directory. This makes it almost impossible to integrate properly into other systems. I don't like wrappers, it's the professional way of doing things imo. Any workarounds for this?
