  1. Oh, believe me. I get it (I'm a developer). Just thinking there has to be a more graceful way to handle the licensing other than directly chained to the licensing server. Whatever's in place probably leaves room for improvement.
  2. Looks like I can get in again. As of within the last 5 minutes.
  3. I agree with Shannon. Our website doesn't go offline if Google Analytics goes down...there's got to be a better way to handle licensing. I recognize that you need to protect your intellectual property, but we need some protection as well.
  4. While I understand what you're saying, users submitting tickets or placing orders doesn't help us if we cannot login and reply to their tickets or activate said orders. Just a thought
  5. I have the same issue...license error. License is valid through a reseller (they bill me automatically). I find it difficult to believe that it's merely coincidence that all these people are having license errors, so I don't think it's that we all let our licenses expire. Tried emailing a support ticket to you guys and it appears your email pipe is broken as well. I feel for you guys...good luck.
  6. I want to include a link to let clients order a domain name. Is this possible? It would be great if there's a way to do it linking separate links by domain extension too. I've searched everywhere but I cannot seem to find out how to do this.
  7. Weird, I'm having the exact same issue. I'm copying the value of the variable only (no quotes or anything else), yet it always says invalid 100% of the time. These are credit card #'s that I'm entering right now too, so I know it's a clean install, recently entered, correct hash, etc. Ideas? Totally should work.
  8. I'm newly switched to WHMCS from ClientExec, and ModernBill about 3 months before CE. I managed to import most data (clients & billing address), but I'm having to enter invoice amounts for the plans they were on and their credit card numbers. I can handle the credit card numbers, but the packages are totally confusing me. The way we used to set people up in ModernBill back in the day (years ago) was we would add them as a client, then add a package with a "custom fixed amount" to the package as an override to what otherwise would have been billed (ie., package price as entered in the system). When we moved to ClientExec a couple months ago, we could enter packages as a custom amount (ie., the override amt), but we were able to enter "recurring invoices" for each client with the custom amount to be billed. Now that I have WHMCS setup fully, I'm entering people and seeing no way to: Enter a custom override for a client's package Enter a recurring invoice to serve as the custom billable amount In short, each client was negotiated at a special rate, and rarely do we have clients all falling under a "package price". Second issue I'm having is the ability to set the start date. We just billed clients in ClientExec for the month of April 2008 (we bill at the first of each month), and as I'm adding people's packages into WHMCS, I see no way to enter a custom start date (ie., 5/1/2008). I'm truly hoping for some special workaround that I'm obviously not seeing yet, or WHMCS may not be the answer to our issues. I thank everyone in advance for their attention to this issue. I swear, it's the only thing in this system that I can see is lacking. Thanks.
