I'm trying to implement a 48-hour free trial for a product, but I want to make sure users must enter their PayPal or credit card info before activating the trial.
Here’s exactly what I’m looking to do:
When the user signs up for the free trial, they are required to enter payment details (PayPal or credit card).
The trial runs for 48 hours.
After 48 hours, the trial automatically converts to a $20.99/month recurring subscription unless they cancel.
If they cancel before 36 hours, they are not charged.
I want this to be as smooth and automated as possible for both the customer and me. Has anyone done something like this with WHMCS?
Do you recommend a specific module or setup to handle this? Ideally, I want to avoid too many custom-coded workarounds.
