Sorry, but I work crazy hours. I followed the instructions. I disabled the rich text editor, copied the content of the email to a txt editor. Cleared the content from the whmcs editor. Saved. And it still didn't work as I am getting the same error. I really have no idea what the issue is and it is more than frustrating, embarrassing that my clients are asking WTH is this crap I am getting in my email.

Thank you community for hearing my issue. I tried to resolve this on my own, but alas that did not work. In fact, it got worse. Error : Smarty Error: [in emailtpl:emailmessage line 4]: syntax error: unclosed tag \{if} (opened line 2). (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 319) in the email everything comes up but the domain and product service. Dear {$client_name}, This is a notice that an invoice has been generated on {$invoice_date_created}. Product/Service: {$service_product_name} Domain: {$service_domain} Your payment method is: {$invoice_payment_method} Invoice #{$invoice_num} Amount Due: {$invoice_total} Due Date: {$invoice_date_due} Invoice Items {$invoice_html_contents} ------------------------------------------------------ You can login to your client area to view and pay the invoice at {$invoice_link} {$signature} Needless to say, I am at a loss. Maybe someone could point me in the correct direction? In my clients email when they setup a hosting package, I am getting this: Temporarily you may use one of the addresses given below manage your web site Temporary FTP Hostname: [ProductCustom-IP Address] Temporary Webpage URL: http://[ProductCustom-IP Address]/~soundaro/ Temporary Control Panel: http://[ProductCustom-IP Address]/cpanel I guess that means there is a custom field that is missing to show the IP address, does anyone know what the field needs to look like to rectify this? They are impossible to get any information to resolve any issue. They are worse than paypal. I used them for 2 weeks, I would recieve payments from customers, ship out the product and the money would never go to my bank, I did 3 transactions like that. Then instead of placing in my account, they refunded my clients! Locked my account and that was it. $2300 dollarsn worth of sales and merchandise gone. 2 of th 3 customers called and asked why I refunded their money, I said, "I didn't and they mailed me a money order." It was embarrassing, humiliating experience. Do not use them.

Ok well mine looks totally different for Directi, I did figure it out but it was a strange way of fixing the problem as i Didn't even need to use cname. It was all on the A records.

Ok thats good to know. Basically what I did was register a domain with directi. I want to point it to another website on another IP. I actually achieved the cardealeradmin.com point, but when heading to http://www.cardealeradmin.com It doesn't work. Do I set another A record for that also? And if I do, do I need to have a cname? Btw thanks a ton for the help.

I am having a serious problem trying to get the CName thingie to point my domain to the correct spot. I am using DirectI through WHMCS reseller program, Now I might be overcomplicating this but I guess I do something wrong. Where is what I need to do, I need my domain http://www.cardealeradmin.com point to an Ip Address. I believe i followed all the steps to do it correctly but it still doesn't work. Does anyone have any idea that has done this successfully? TIA

Here is what i like, I send a ticket with a question and get an answer. Not just an answer, but why something happen, the solution and how to prevent it from happening again. When I need customization or updates, even though i pay a small fee, I am treated like a million dollar corporation. I feel like these people care about me and my business just as much as they care about theirs. They have integrity, and honestly I cannot wait until I can use this system on other projects that I get. Thanks for this software, this support, and the integrity that alot of companies do not care about.

Matt fixed this for me. Hostnine will say it is a problem with Whmcs, it took them days of back and forth.

my recommendation is to place a support ticket, Matt is affordable, fast, and 100% top teired in all aspects of this program. I have asked for a few things, he delivered within hours for a job that would have taken days to complete. If this is important to you and your site, have Matt do it. This is one of the best programs, support and community I have ever dealt with.
