When you make a client tax exempt in the the client profile, the tax exemption works in viewinvoice.php but not in: 1. New Order Notification Email 2. admin/orders.php I think it's just in administrator areas where the gross amount including tax is displayed. Most client area seem to be OK.
-
I've fixed it by doing this in the viewinvoice template: {if $clientsdetails.country eq "United Kingdom" and $status eq "Unpaid" and $paymentmethod eq "Bank Transfer"} Put Bank Details here. {/if}
-
The module is now available.

I would like to offer clients two bank transfer options: 1. Bank details for Country A 2. Bank details for Country B Does anyone know how I can duplicate the existing bank transfer to create a second option?

Invoice création only after paiement recieved possible ?
HungryH replied to netswitch's topic in General Discussion
Has anyone come up with a solution for this yet? I have a similar problem in Spain. My invoices have to be in a continuous order. If an invoice remains unpaid, it messes up the invoice numbers. I was wondering if this would work: 1. Set up dummy Invoice Starting # (Invoice Configuration) to be a very high number. e.g. 50,000,000 2. When an order comes in, the invoice number automatically generated will be 50,000,001. 3. If it gets paid, a script could find all references to the invoice number in the database and change the invoice number to the next real available number e.g. 20,070,001. A separate table for real invoice numbers will be needed. It may also need to change the invoice date (must check with my accountant). 4. Only display Order # in invoices until the invoice has been paid and has a real invoice number. I am assuming that the existing invoice number generator will carry on using the next highest available number which will be 50,000,001 or more. Matt - If you could confirm that my idea would work, I can start writing a script for it. It's 2:50am. I'm half asleep and I'm pretty sure there's a flaw in my plan but I'm too tired to spot it. -
I have set up a custom field and would like to auto-fill it. The link to the order page is order.php?step=2&pid=4 I would like to change it to order.php?step=2&pid=4&new_id=whatever The value of $new_id could then be fed into customfield[1]. I think I'm right in saying I need to change templates/orderforms/default/order-stepthree.tpl but I do not know how to. I was thinking on these lines: {$new_id = $_GET['new_id'];} {if($new_id != "") { $customfield[1]['value'] = $new_id; } } But I haven't got a clue. Not the standard php I'm used to. Can anyone help me?

Do you know if the member sign for simplemachines can be integrated with WHMCS so clients do not have to log in/out twice?
-
Thanks. I've never heard of simplemachines before. I've recently installed phpbb 3. I might use this one instead. It certainly looks cleaner.

I like the tabs as well. Definitely helps to have some colour distinction between your product area and client area. It might help to have a form on your contact page as well. An email to jason@ suggests a one man band outfit. A form would help disguise that. Another problem is the spam that you will get by leaving your email there, especially a personal email. I like the reflection of the boxes on the home page showing your complete package and hosting plans. I do think, however, the colours of the boxes are too bland. Clients may think they are buying a bland product. Ok, it's difficult to glamourise hosting but a brighter colour and maybe a picture/image on the box would be good. Apart from that, not too bad and a good base to work from.

I really like this site for its simplicity. This is something I hope to achieve. The forum looks good as well. Is that your own script or customised from elsewhere?
-
When I say is it any good? I really mean do your clients use it? Do your clients think it's good?
-
I like the header. It looks great. I noticed in your downloads you have a website builder. Is it any good? I would like to offer a website builder to my clients as well.

Defintely. I'll let you know as soon as I hear something. Happy Days

Email from CEO of 12register.com today. Result! It's great to come across a CEO who's still in touch with his customers' needs.

No. I emailed yesterday but I have not heard anything yet. It's a shame there's no more interest from others. I'm getting a bit frustrated because I want to get this working ASAP. I have a suggestion. What about the three of us going ahead with it anyway and then we have these options: 1. If 12register come back to us and say "Yeh no worries, we'll pay for it" then we'll get our money back and every man and his dog can use it. 2. If they say "No", then we'll have to bite the bullet BUT if in the future other people want it, they will have to contribute say $50. Once we have a total of 10 people including ourselves then we allow anyone to have the module. I do not know the normal protocol for releasing custom modules to everyone for free but I can't help thinking there are people unwilling to contribute at this stage because they feel a freebie will be available soon. What do you think? Matt - Is it normally frowned upon when people keep custom modules for themselves? Would you be happy with this arrangement?
-
12register have replied to my request:
-
Sorry to complain but the second topic wasn't really a duplicate because it was different subject trying to attract other users to help contribute to a new module. It had an appropriate title as well where as the title for this topic is still about .es domains.

I've added a new post here in Customisation & Integration Questions forums.whmcs.com/viewtopic.php?t=5804 Unfortunately I could not add a proper url link because I haven't posted enough messages in this forum yet.
-
Good idea Minervah Can I leave you to do this and then if you could add a link on this post to the new one. I have also contacted 12register to see if they are willing to pay for it. Long shot but don't ask, don't get!
-
Hi Tracktor and Minerva I would be happy to share this cost if anyone's interested. I'd be happy to contribute an equal share if there are say a minimum of 4 people. Hopefully 100 people will come forward and this will be cheap as chips.
-
Thanks for the tip. I was hoping to automate everything by finding a registrar that uses WHMCS. I'll keep on looking.
-
I am interested in using your system for selling .es domains. Do any of your registrars do this? If they do not, how easy would it be to add a registrar that does?
